James Drummond Dole (Sept. 27, 1877- May 20, 1958) attached photo in pineapple field; Helped to develop the pineapple industry and established the HawaiianPineapple Co. and then Dole Food Co.; cousin of Sanford Dole, President of the Republic of Hawaii. Leader in marketing and mechanization (Ginaca peel and core).
7. Elizabeth Dole Porteus ( April 25, 1911-July 24, 2010) daughter of James Dole and great grand-daughter of William Patterson Alexander

    My mother in law (Mabel Alexander Caffaro) is an Alexander and was born in HAWAII.
